About the role and responsibilities角色與責(zé)任:
Technical Support Engineers are the region technical experts as it relates to local infrastructure and personal computing. The key responsibility is to undertake day to day activities needed to ensure continuity of service. In addition, Engineers must provide help and guidance to the Technical Analysts. Much of the Engineer work is driven by the standard "Incident Process" managed by the Enterprise Service Desk
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES
- Work as part of a close knit team, to provide a quality service to the business
- Work with Infrastructure Project Management as a local resource and/or as project lead on local Infrastructure projects
- Proactive monitoring of incoming incident tickets and, where appropriate, self assignment of tickets to ensure resolution in appropriate timelines.
- Liaison with business partners to resolve their technical issues, problems and requests
- Own, and manage to completion, minor changes to local infrastructure, according to enterprise standards
- Liaise with, and provide direction to, the Enterprise Remote Operations Support teams as required to manage and resolve incidents assigned to the remote team that are affecting local business operations
- Understand expectations that were set with business clients and recognize when issues/events may need escalation up the management chain
- Deliver infrastructure and operations services at expected quality levels to distributed business units in accordance with SLOs/SLAs
- Consistently implement standards and d documentation in distributed infrastructure environment
- Ensure all local work conforms to defined Enterprise standards and policies
- Ensure adherence to Enterprise IT processes and compliance with defined audit requirements(e.g., SOX, GCC)
- Maintains relationships with regional telecom partners, regional vendor delivery organizations and other service providers
- Communicates field level Enterprise IT policies, procedures and changes as relevant
Who we are looking for我們尋找的人才:
- University degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field
- At least 2 years experience managing service desk or IT operations in a multinational framework
- At least 2 years experience managing vendors and hardware procurement/delivery processes
- At least 2 years experience supporting multiple aspects of infrastructure to include standard printing, PC, laptop and wireless devices
- At least 2 years experience in 2 or more infrastructure/operations discipline (e.g., systems administration, network administration, telecommunications)
- At least 2 years experience in a coaching or mentoring capacity
- English language fluency
