The VCATS [Vehicle Configuration And Test System] team are part of the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering department and support the electrical testing of the car and the validation of feature performance. The VCATS process downloads software to electronic modules on the vehicle and configures them to the correct vehicle specification, making the car saleable and ensuring it complies with market legislation. The VCATS Delivery Engineer will develop their knowledge of the vehicle by preparing for early build phases and on to volume production, providing whole life system support. 1. Assess impact on electrical sequence and cycles and manufacturing feasibility implications of all product actions and changes對所有產(chǎn)品活動及變更對于電器檢測順序及節(jié)拍的影響進行可行性分析。
2. Develop appropriate technical testing solutions for new vehicle programmes為新車型項目開發(fā)合適的技術(shù)測試方案；
3. Support the specification, procurement and commissioning of new VCATS facilities to support plant, vehicle and programme requirements根據(jù)項目、車型的需要，完成技術(shù)要求的編寫，協(xié)助采購及進行現(xiàn)場新電檢設(shè)備的調(diào)試。
4. Contribute to the strategic planning of VCATS hardware and software systems協(xié)助確定電檢設(shè)備軟件、硬件系統(tǒng)的策略策劃
5. Provide hands-on, track side support early builds and ongoing into production.在制造初期及投放階段提供現(xiàn)場支持。
6. Manage VCATS deliverables so that the vehicle meets all functional and quality targets管理電檢的交付，確保車輛滿足所有功能和質(zhì)量目標。
7. Act as a point of contact to support ongoing production and explain technical issues and principles to the current manufacturing team. Investigate repeat issues and act to resolve them.作為一個聯(lián)系人現(xiàn)生產(chǎn)進行支持，負責(zé)為現(xiàn)場制造團隊進行技術(shù)問題和原理的解釋，分析重復(fù)出現(xiàn)的問題并解決它們；
